Free Crops at the South Brunswick Public Library


Are you ready to join the ranks of the creative and crafty? Sometimes we scrap, sometimes we sew, sometimes we bead..

It's crunch time for all our holiday craft projects and handmade gifts. Pack up your gear and join us for 15hrs of uninterrupted, no holds barred crafting at the cute and cozy Hilton Garden Inn - Raritan Center.

  • Your choice of 3-4 feet of crafting space in a well lit and comfortable hotel with cushioned banquet chairs

  • 15 hours of uninterrupted crafting time

  • Full use of our TOOL CENTER
  • WIFI for downloading embroidery patterns or digital scrapbooking

  • On site vendors for your shopping needs

  • Yummy goodie bags (yep we said yummy)

All for only $40.
That is less than $3 an hour for a spacious, inspiring, distraction-free crafting day.

Register with a group of up to 4 people and pay just $20 each.
2 people - $30 each, 3 people - $25 each, 4 people - $20 each

** Food is on your own - Eat what you want when you want. We know when you are on a roll with a project, the last thing you want to do is stop and eat. Or maybe you just never seem to enjoy the food choices at other events. At P&P events you never will be interrupted by a dinner bell.

  • The hotel has an on site grill that is open from 7am-11am for breakfast and 5pm-9pm for dinner. There is also a Pavilion Pantry with snacks open 24hrs.
  • Harold's New Yorker Deli at the Holiday Inn (across the parking lot) is open 7am-10pm.
  • The Sheraton (also across the parking lot) has a Starbucks and the Chairman Grill (open 7am-12pm and 5pm to 9pm).
  • Within driving distance there is Menlo Park Mall (that has numerous restaurants and a food court), the Edison Diner, Outback Steakhouse, Macaroni Grill, and many more places all within about a 4 mile radius from the Hilton.

  • Casual, comfortable clothes. Dress in layers in the event of cooler, fluctuating hotel temperatures.
  • Any personal snacks and drinks. (No open drink containers permitted on craft tables, please.)
  • An extension cord for your sewing machine, OTT or craft lamp, electric die cutter, or any other electronic device. We will have some extension cords available, but there may not be enough for everyone who needs one.
  • Background noise - Please be mindful of others in the craft room. Wear headphones and keep volume lowered when using Ipods, MP3 players, and portable dvd players.
  • Preplan your projects and bring the supplies necessary to complete them. Our on site vendors will have items for your last minute needs and our tool center will be open, so it is not necessary to bring all your supplies. For safety reasons aisle blocking is not permitted.
  • Cash and credit/debit cards for vendor shopping, food, etc.

Register early to get a larger space. There are 3ft and 4ft spaces available.

Need more space? Yes. you can buy two seats! A limited number of 8ft spaces are also available on a first come, first served basis.

The Rules:

  • All cancellations must be made in writing to Please be sure to include your name, address, phone number, email address. All refunds will be refunded in the same manner received.
  • Refunds are permitted up to 30 days in advance of an event. Cancellations made after 30 days will be subject to a $15 fee.

  • No-shows forfeit refunds.

  • Returned checks will incur a $25.00 fee.

  • "Bring A Friend" offer applies to 3ft & 4ft spaces only. Your registration and that of your friends must be received within the same week or higher fee will be applied. Please indicate you are using the "bring a friend" offer on your registration form.

  • Only registered crafters will be allowed in the craft room.

  • Our events are for adults. Crafters 16 and older only.

  • Spill proof containers must always be used in the craft room.

  • P&P staff will be present for the entire crafting event. However, we cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen items.
